Due Dates.. Updated

Surrealism Project - Past due!

Diptychs & Triptychs - These should be finished and uploaded by Friday

Digital Portfolio
This portfolio will serve as your final exam (if you aren't a senior there is one more project after the portfolio).
The portfolios will be due (finished and uploaded!) by Thursday May 17 (senior final day). All past due work is also due by this date.

Final - Create a Portfolio

Everyone has to make a portfolio.. even if you haven't been absent!

Step1:
Create a PowerPoint Presentation that includes 10 to 20 of your best photographic work from this semester.

* You will need to locate your images.  (Hopefully you have them saved under your WVEIS number or flash drive.  If not you must click on the photos on Blogger to make them big & then copy and paste into the PowerPoint)

Keep Your PowerPoint fairly simple so the focus is on your artwork, but you can make it look nice.  Include a Title Page.  (Avoid using your full name as we will be publishing these online!) Each photo should have its own slide. Save the Portfolio.

Step2:
Create a free account with Slideshare
Step 3:
Go to UPLOAD.  (Click Upload Publically.) Select your PowerPoint.  It should upload.  It may take a few minutes.

Step 4:
Once it uploads, click on EMBED (It should be right in the middle, on top of your slideshow)  The Embed code should pop up.  Click Copy.

Step 5:
Log on to http://www.blogger.com/ and click on New Post.  Change the tab from Compose to EDIT HTML.  Paste the Embed Code into the Post Window. Title the Post: Digital Photography Portfolio or something similar.
Here is a PowerPoint to help you.  It will also serve as an example of what your Portfolio SlideShow should look like once you post it to your blog.
