E & P Scavenger Hunt



The goal of this assignment is to refresh your memory about the Elements and Principles of art.

 As we begin to take photos for this class, Always, ALWAYS, A L W A Y S keep the E and P of Art fresh in your mind.  They are what make excellent photos!

1st:   Refresh your memory about the Elements and Principles of art by clicking this PDF, read it and view the images.

2nd:  Click this link and read about the Elements and Principles of Art.

3rd:  Take a  photo for each of the elements and principles listed below.  You will have a total of at least 13 images.  You are strongly encouraged to take multiple photos for each of the Elements and Principles to ensure you get better images in the end! :)

       4.  Create a Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation.  You'll have a title page and 13 slides, (In case you can't add, that is 14 slides total)  because you will need one slide for each of your photos of the Elements and Principles of Art.



Here are some images that really show LINE.  The first two could also be used for Movement.  The third could also be used for Balance, as it shows some symmetry.

    


On your each PowerPoint slide, you should title the slide the element or principle being photographed.  Include the photo.   Also, include a sentence or two that EXPLAINS HOW YOU USED THAT ELEMENT OR PRINCIPLE.  Here is an example for a "line" slide.




Make your slides look nice.  I recommend using a cohesive, unified theme, either through color and/or font choices.
